Dr. Wall and Mollie |
Richard T. Wall, DVM, CCRP (Certified Canine
Rehabilitation Practitioner) Texas A&M University College of Veterinary
Medicine class of 1979. Dr. Wall is a resident of The Woodlands, Texas.
He opened the Animal Clinic at Cochran's Crossing in 1995 and the
Animal Clinic at Alden Bridge opened in1998. |
Dr. Wall has many interests in the field of veterinary medicine.
However; the area that has captured his heart and mind is
rehabilitation medicine. This new
field draws knowledge from the human physical
therapy profession, but many questions still exist about
the proper rehabilitation of the veterinary patient. It
is the opportunity to help animals in a novel way and to assist the
veterinary rehabilitation profession as it continues to progress
onward, that has energized Dr. Wall to become one of only a few
veterinarians in the country to practice rehabilitative
medicine. He has attended and completed all of the course
work for the Certificate Program in Canine Rehabilitation at the
University of Tennessee - College of Veterinary Medicine and is
now a Certified Canine Rehabilitation
Practitioner. In addition to rehabilitation medicine, Dr.
Wall has special interest in the surgical correction of cranial
cruciate disease and medial patellar luxation. Both of these
are very common problems encountered in a small animal practice and
recent advances in both surgery and rehabilitation have
dramatically improved the outcomes of each. With this in mind, Dr. Wall opened the
state-of-the-art Animal Clinic at Indian Springs and the Veterinary
Rehabilitation Center in September 2004. Over the past several years Dr. Rick Wall has
developed an extensive progressive practice in rehabilitation
medicine at the Indian Springs location. The practice has
improved the lives of many patients suffering from both orthopedic
and neurologic problems. Some of Dr. Wall's most rewarding
cases have been with paralyzed patients who regain their
mobility. Recently, Dr. Wall has started performing some
Chinese medicine and acupuncture for pain management and
neurologically deficient patients. |

Kari is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from Tomball College in 2004. She received her certification in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee Certification Program in the summer of 2006. She is our Rehabilitation Technician and heads the rehabilitation center at the Indian Springs location in The Woodlands, Texas. Kari works very closely with Dr. Rick Wall to ensure that all of the patients get the attention and the appropriate therapy needed. Recently, adding even more knowledge to help her with her patients, Kari has completed courses at the Chi Institute. Her instruction there was in Chinese veterinary medicine, which allows her to have a versatile approach when treating the rehab patients. As the youngest of seven siblings, Kari’s main love and inspiration is her family, the people and pets! She shares her life with Cocoa Bear, Leo, and Tootsie Roll (her spoiled Dachshunds) and Sunny (the Miniature Pincher/Terrier mix). In her leisure time she volunteers at the Houston Zoo (giraffes being her favorite), and enjoys dancing and spending time with friends. Pictured is Gabbi who is recovering from back surgery. |

Sharon has joined our team here
at The Animal Clinics of The Woodlands, bringing with her over 18
years of outstanding veterinary technician experience. Her main
areas of interest and expertise are emergency medicine and general
veterinary care. She enjoys spending her time away from work with
her son, Ashton; the Dachshund, Miller; and Daisy, the
Cockatiel. When Miller
lets her, Sharon also enjoys relaxing at the lake and watching
Ashton compete in sports like, Tae Kwon Do and
baseball Much of Sharon’s expertise and loving soul can be
seen when she’s helping with the rehabilitation patents. It takes a gentle, but
steady hand, and a serene and caring continence. Sharon displays all of these
qualities brilliantly.
Her help has been a great asset in rehab! |

immensely skilled administrative assistants. She
has been an outstanding asset for The Animal Clinics of The
Woodlands and part of the Rehab team since March

have her help and brilliant insight. Her
extensive talents are caring for all of our rehab patients and
their owners while also managing much of the office and
receptionist work at Indian Springs. Jinger
enjoys her leisure time with her family and her beautiful new
